Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) is the spiritual heart of Sai Education. The SSE curriculum rests upon five universal human values: 
      ▪  Truth
      ▪  Right Action
      ▪  Peace
      ▪  Love
      ▪  Non- Violence

The curriculum also focuses on the unity of faiths and on the brother-hood of man and the father- hood of God. This curriculum is designed to help students develop their innate human potential. Within the nature of each child is the capacity for truth, right action, peace, love, and non-violence. These human values manifest, when they are brought to the child’s awareness.
 

SSE Registration 2011-2012
Atlanta SSE Center has a wonderful team of trained and experienced teachers who are very adept at working with children of all ages and bring the best out of them. Their experience and insight enables them to imbibe into the children the five human values. Each class is filled with fun, educative and hands-on assignments that children enjoy. The teachers adopt very innovative and creative teaching methods so that value identification and value application become part of the child's everyday life. The children not only understand the importance of the values but also become comfortable in applying them in their everyday lives.

SSE classes for the year 2011-2012 will begin on August 14, 2011. Registrations for returning students and newcomers will commence from July 31st, 2011 onwards. Parents who are not able to come to the Center can send an email giving the child’s full name, date of birth, and grade level.

SSE Classes
SSE Classes are held every Sunday, from 3:00 P.M. to 4:15 P.M. The SSE classes are for children ages 4 to 17.The classes are divided based on grade level.

 

Groups

Pre-SSE:  grades – Pre K and Kindergarten
SSE Group I:  grades – 1, 2, and 3
SSE Group II:  grades – 4, 5, and 6
SSE Group III:  grades – 7, 8, and 9

SSE Group IV:  grades – 10, 11, and 12

Groups I, II, III, and IV follow a structured SSE curriculum as per Swami’s guidelines. The Pre-SSE syllabus is simplified and may not follow the exact structure of the SSE curriculum.

The Teaching technique across all classes incorporates five human values in the curriculum. The typical structure or flow of the class is as follows:
      ▪ Three OMs
      ▪ Silent Sitting
      ▪ Universal Prayer(s)
      ▪ Review of previous class
      ▪ Lesson plan for the day
      ▪ Q&A /Life Application /Assignment
      ▪ Om & 3 shanthis
